Drug dealers destroy families through opioids–like fentanyl–flowing into our country and state through an unchecked border. The hopelessness so many in West Virginia feel, leading them to turn to drug abuse, is a multifaceted problem requiring a comprehensive, compassionate response from the whole of our population: churches, mental health organizations, treatment centers, halfway homes, and long-term supports. People are not disposable and West Virginians do not believe in lost causes.
