I’m a proud Army veteran. As a disabled veteran myself, I am keenly aware of the needs of our wounded
warriors who have sacrificed so much for their country. They should be the first, not the last to receive
assistance with healthcare, mental health services, and reintegration into society upon leaving the
service. They’ve earned that support and have already paid for it in blood, sweat, and separation from
their loved ones. The government must always remember that and never abandon them in their time of
need. My office will stand by our service men and women with the gratitude and respect they deserve.
